Brittany Kelly Were Selected to Competed In NCAA Regionals

Kelly, who has set the Ball State career scoring average record, becomes the first female golfer in school history to advance to the NCAA Regional.  She is one of six individuals chosen for the Central Regional, and one of 18 individuals selected overall.

Kelly is scheduled to tee off the first round May 5 at 8:55 a.m., and May 6 at 1:15 p.m.   She is scheduled for an 8:55 a.m. tee time May 7 for the Luke Donald Loses Playoff In PGA Tour final round.A 2010 and 2011 All-Mid-American Conference First Team selection, Kelly was also named to the 2010 MAC All-Tournament Team and was a 2009 All-MAC Second-Team selection.She played in all 11 events for the Cardinals this season and led the team with a 75.30 average.  Kelly managed a season low 71 twice in 2010-11, while her 69 at the 2007 MAC Tournament Preview is a career best and ties for the lowest round in Ball State history.  She managed eight top-20 and seven top-10 finishes as a senior, including two second-place showings and a ninth place finish at the MAC Championships.
